So the next two stops on my trip were in Freeport Bahamas (which I recommend to everyone!) and Nassau Bahamas.  Let me tell you right away, Nassau was quite a challenge for me.  The first thing I literally saw when I stepped off the ship was a big old David Yurman store.

You can't see it in this picture, but trust me, it was there.  And guess what... the store in the Bahamas is allowed to haggle!!!  I wanted this necklace

and they were willing to take 20% off.  I mean, that would have made it $800,  but that's still 20% that I never would have gotten in the U.S.  So I walked around Nassau for a little while with my mom and made the strong decision that I would NOT purchase the necklace (go ahead and applaud me right here).  I was so proud of myself!

The next stop was in Freeport.  Like I said, I recommend the Grand Bahama island to everyone.  It was much more laid back than the capital.  Also, I didn't feel like all of the cab drivers were undressing me with their eyes.  Here's a picture of a resort that I went to.  It was a little chilly that day, but I still my toes in the beautiful water.

There was even an Irish pub that I told Brian we would have to check out!
