  • Can you believe people still do this?

Ok, so I almost got into my first fist fight this weekend.  It was amazing really, Bri and I went to the movies to see “Daybreakers” on Saturday night.  There was this couple sitting behind us.  They were talking AT A NORMAL LEVEL during all of the previews.  I thought to myself, “ok, this is annoying, but I’ll deal.  Technically they don’t need to stop talking until the movies starts”.  And guess what… THEY KEPT TALKING!

So to make a long story short, I turned around, asked nicely, they copped an attitude, I stood up and really started to cuss them out, the girl kep talking back to me, I told her let’s take this outside, security was called, blah blah blah, Bri and I ended up leaving the movie, getting a refund and getting four free passes for the future, and the girl and her boyfriend had to move to an empty space in the theatre where they wouldn’t disturb anyone with the incessent nonsensical chatter (she was talking about how she would make such a sexy vampire… Puh lease!!!  Everyone knows vampires are so 2009.  2010 is the year of the ghost)

Anyway, my point is, can you believe people actually talk in theatres nowadays?  I mean, isn’t it common sense to not talk on the phone or to the person next to you (save for the occassional sarcastic comment)?  I guess not.  But secretly I was hoping to get into a fight with this girl.  I never knew how to fight until Brian taught me, and now I think I could actually do some damage to the average girl.  Hooray for me!

I was never a huge fan of Michele Rodriguez, but she’s slowly growing on me.
